London Fashion Week

Well here we are again in 2010 and will there be something that will overwhelm us? I hope there will be a new fashion something that this generation will remember. It will need to be good as there have been many generations of fine designs that need to be topped. They need to design something which is wearable but so lovely and pretty, but something that will stand the test of time.

We know that the mini skirt will never go out of fashion in fact you could walk down the cat walk in one today and still fit-in. I’m glad I was a fan of the classic look, never goes out of fashion. Well about what’s in for the winter…

The long cashmere Max Mara coat with the thin croc belt. Matches leather flying jacket. Next has a beautiful short coat with lots off buttons, The Russian military coat will be a big statement this winter. Most of these fashions, we have had in the past, so maybe they have passed the test of time.

I wish I had kept my old coat as for sure it has come back in fashion. It’s all about the flying jacket sturdy laced ankle boots, tight trousers or stretchy jeans. Long cashmere coats with thin belt. Dressy high heel ankle boots, lots of trench coats tweed jackets tailored with long leather boots.
Handbags will also be important apart from the large designer bags, there will be the satchel shoulder bags in every colour. As Christmas approaches, the evening bag with all its glitter and sequins will be plentiful in the shops.

If you are looking for a designer bag to last, make sure the zips are strong and can go back and forth with ease. Straps do break with all the amount of stuff we put inside, so look for strong straps with quality stitching. I will let you know soon, which ones are the best.
